The Department of Chemistry\ Faculty of Sciences at the University of Kerbala has discussed a dissertation of M.Sc. entitled ”Role of Matrix Metalloproteinase-2 Gene Variance and Its Levels as a Potential Risk Biomarkers of Breast Cancer in Iraqi Woman of Kerbala Province”

The project was presented by student Yamamah Jawad Abbas at Faculty of medicine under supervision team prof. Dr. Alaa Frack Hussain from Faculty of Science and Dr. Fadhel Jawad from Faculty of medicine.
prof. Dr. Alaa Frack said that the project is about the cancer disease of women breast at Kerbala city and the genetic reasons with other effects. This research has estimated by an Excellence degree from the committee
