During a tour to College of Medicine, University of Baghdad and its clinical laboratories and its educational environment, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed the importance of everyone’s collaboration to achieve the goals of medical education and to set appropriate planning aspects for scientific requirements and variables, as well as concerning to quality and its standards and programs for continuous development and modernization in line with the goals, mission and vision of the educational institution.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted with the Heads of the Branches’ visions and opinions regarding the implementation of specialized academic programs.

His Excellency directed activating of the powers vested in the law to improve the quality environment and overcome challenges, as well as  working according to the priorities that regulate the fields of scientific research, curricula, university infrastructure, student care and support, enhance their creativity and excellence aspects.

Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurated a number of smart halls and clinical laboratories in the College of Medicine, as well as reviewing its educational environment and some of its heritage buildings, which date back to the foundation stage in 1927 besides meeting its students who expressed their high appreciation for this field follow-up.
