During a joint press conference, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi highlighted that this important project represents a core of institutional integration that takes into account development requirements according to the needs of the State sectors and in light of the priorities imposed by the need for specializations and qualitative staffs.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed an agreement on a joint project to establish a creativity center to attract students with distinguished talents and energies to develop their scientific potential to serve the sectors of the State and the goals of sustainable development.

His Excellency also reviewed with the University of Karbala Council the plan and objectives of the Ministry and the mission of its institutions are embodied in developing the scientific research environment and benefiting from its outputs and employing them according to what society needs.

Dr. Al-Aboudi demonstrated the proposals and visions of the Deans of the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Applied Medical Sciences, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Sciences, Tourism Sciences, Management, Economics, Islamic Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, Education for Pure Sciences, Physical Education, Sports Sciences and Agriculture.

His Excellency directed the adopt and diagnosis of the requirements of the scientific case and the development of appropriate recommendations in this regard.

It is worth mentioning that the conference was attended by the President of the University of Karbala, Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saiedi and a number of the members of Council of the Province, as well as agreement with the Governor of Karbala, Mr. Nassief Jassim Al-Khattabi.
