A dissertation at the Faculty of Science has discussed the evaluation of the efficiency of a plant extract.

A master’s thesis in the College of Science at the University of Kerbala entitled ”Evaluation of the Efficiency of a Plant Extract Against Leukemia Cancer in a Laboratory Animal” discussed evaluating the efficiency of a plant extract against leukaemia in a laboratory animal by the student Benin Haider Jabbar.
The study has discussed some weight changes in the rat body and its organs (such as liver, kidneys, and spleen) before and after the development of leukaemia, and also after treatment with plant extract and chemotherapy. As well as, it is studying the changes that occurred in blood parameters and histological changes for each of the liver, kidneys and spleen.
The study has recommended conducting immunological research to determine the effect of these plant extracts and their compounds on the immune system in humans and laboratory animals.
