Iraq & Iran’s Joint Scientific Cooperation Committee Holds 1st Meeting in Baghdad

During a Joint Scientific Cooperation Committee’s 1st meeting between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed prospects for cooperation and coordination between the universities of the two countries.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed on the importance of consolidating the climate of scientific cooperation and developing joint scientific programs in the light of knowledge variables and discoveries in various disciplines that serve the academic work environment in the two countries.

His Excellency reiterated the importance of overcoming the challenges that stand in the way of Iraqi students in Iranian universities, facilitating procedures related to residency and completing the requirements for university degrees and graduation.

It is worth to be mentioned that the members of the Joint Scientific Cooperation Committee demonstrated the topics on the agenda issued by the joint work file in the fields of scientific research and cooperation programs in the specialties sought by university institutions on both sides.
