Higher Education: On Thirteen Iraqi Universities Obtain Competitive Scores in Times World Ranking of Subjects 2024

Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on that Thirteen Iraqi universities obtained competitive results in the Times World Rankings by Subjects in its new edition for 2024.

Higher Education reviewed that the (https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/by-subject) higglighted that the universities of Baghdad, Babylon, Kufa, Mosul and Mustansiriyah obtained important scores in the field of medicine and health sciences (Clinical and Health), while Universities of Anbar, Mosul and Baghdad scored Basrah, Kufa and Mustansiriya are positive scores in the biology field.

Higher Education also reviewed that the engineering specialty obtained, important scores were achieved by the Universities of Al-Nahrain, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Anbar, Babylon, Diyala, Technology, Baghdad, Basrah, Karbala, Middle Technical University, Mosul and Mustansiriyah.

Higher Education demonstrated that the universities of Al-Qadisiyah, Babylon, Technology, Al-Nahrain, Diyala, Anbar, Baghdad, Basrah, Karbala, Kufa, Mosul and Mustansiriyah obtained their competitive scores in the field of physical sciences, while the Universities of Al-Nahrain, Al-Anbar, Babylon, Baghdad, Kufa,  Middle Technical University, Mosul, Technology, Basrah and Mustansiriyah obtained index positions in the field of computer science.

It is worth to be mentioned that Iraq achieved 37th score in the world in the Times University Rankings for 2024 through the registration of Iraqi universities competing and their presence in the ranking in which 2,024 universities from 108 countries around the world compete according to evaluation indicators in the fields of teaching, research environment, quality of research, international outlook and industry income.
