During a meeting with the University of Baghdad’s Council, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed results achieved at the level of scientific research and international rankings.
Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed His confidence that Iraqi universities will obtain more positive indicators in academic performance and quality fields, especially in light of the shift towards the Bologna Process, which will enable the university environment to respond accelerating knowledge requirements and achieve harmony with labor market variables.
His Excellency stressed that the results indicated in the Times World Ranking, which placed Iraq in the thirty-seventh place in the world, bear clear evidence of the correct path pursued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its university institutions in terms of scientific research and academic reputation.
