During chairing a meeting of the committees of the preparations for hosting the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, which will be hosted in capital Baghdad, early next March 2024, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed with the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama the readiness of the organizational procedures for the General Conference.

Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed the Ministry interest in this academic event, which concerns Arab universities and opens a vital field for signing bilateral understandings between Arab institutions.

For his part, Dr. Salama reviewed the necessity of embodying the outcomes of the Union’s General Conference, which will be hosted by the capital Baghdad in the form of programs and timings that serve joint work.

For their part, the attendees highlighted the work courses of the committees, content of the agenda and the scientific events that will be held at the University of Baghdad, which will cover days of the first week of next March.
