Dr. Al-Aboudi Honors National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges, His Excellency Confirms That International Accreditation Granted to Iraq Summarizes the Recognition of Its Academic Institutions, Certificates & Study Programs

During honoring the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq on the occasion of Iraq obtaining international recognition and accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi that this historical achievement will remain evident to generations, which is Iraq’s obtaining international recognition and accreditation from the International Federation for Medical Education, whose experts conducted a scientific evaluation and programmatic examination of the climate of medical education and the mechanisms of the Iraqi Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Medicine in Iraq .

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that the decision of the World Federation for Medical Education granted to Iraq summarizes the solidity of the scientific level of our academic institutions, their certificates and study programs, the eligibility of their educational systems and their capabilities responsible for achieving their mission and goals according to the approved international standards.

His Excellency reviewed securing the course of Iraqi certificates and providing the level expected of them.

Dr. Al-Aboudi honored a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Dr. Firas Al-Muslimaoui, Director of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation , Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, Head of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges, Dr. Anis Khalil and a number of Deans of medical colleges in Iraqi universities that obtained accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq.

 It is worth to be mentioned that the honoring ceremony was attended by a number of parliamentary, governmental and academic members.
