During Union of Arab Universities Conference, Dr. Al-Aboudi Calls On Establishing & Announcing of Arab Higher Education Zone

During the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi called for the establishment and announcement of the Arab Higher Education Zone project under the umbrella of the Association of Arab Universities.

His Excellency called on the establishing and announcing of an Arab Higher Education zone.

Dr. Al-Aboudi added that the proposed initiative and project includes an important road map to undermine challenges and expand the circle of joint action similar to the experience of establishing the European Higher Education Zone, supporting, enhancing and consolidating reform climates in institutions and providing solutions to many of the difficulties facing Arab universities and educational institutions.

His Excellency added that real, continuous and effective interaction between Arab universities would reduce the gap between Arab educational spaces and open the way for productive interaction with solid educational environments in many global capitals.

Dr. Al-Aboudi honored the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, Dr. Abdelmadjid Ben Amara, the President of the University of Sousse, Dr. Lotfi Belkacem, and the President of Al-Mustanir University, Dr. Al-Hadi Belhaj Saleh, expressed His confidence in strengthening the position of Arab universities at the level of academic, scientific and research contributions.
