The Biology Department at the College of Science organized a scientific field trip for second-year students studying Entomology to the nurseries of the Holy Al-Ataba Al-Husseinia. The trip was conducted under the supervision of department instructors (Dr. Sarah Kazem Ibrahim and Ms. Maida Ayad Khalef) on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
The scientific field trip aimed to familiarize students with various insects, classify species present in the nurseries, observe the diversity, differentiate genera, explore environmental conditions suitable for their habitats, and identify insects that are beneficial or harmful to plants.
