Under the supervision of the college dean, Professor Dr. Hassan Jameel Jawad, and organized by the Department of Life Sciences, the College of Science held a seminar titled “Afforestation and its Importance for Environmental Improvement” in conjunction with National Arbor Day.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of plants, their cultivation, and their impact on the environment, particularly in the face of widespread environmental pollution, as well as to promote the expansion of green spaces to address air pollution.
