The College of Science at the University of Karbala announced the introduction of a doctoral study in Biology for the academic year 2020-2021. This step came after getting the final official approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on 21/5/2020.

This comes in line with the scientific development and the need for vertical expansion in the doctorate study. It also improves the scientific and academic level of the college and provides students with the opportunity to pursue their studies. This will guarantee the qualification of an advanced scientific staff in these specializations and everything related to them.

It is to be mentioned that the college has provided all the required material and human capabilities, which would guarantee an exemplary postgraduate study and qualifying a distinguished scientific staff.
