During a participating in the activities of the 9th Scientific Conference of the Iraqi Board For Medical Specializations, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi called on taking into consideration the highest quality requirements at the level of medical education, strengthening this aspect with well-thought-out programs for scientific twinning between universities, colleges, and relevant research centers and their international counterparts and spending every effort to complete reliability and enhance levels of sobriety in the environment of medical specialties.

Dr. Al-Aboudi added that the Ministry  is the responsibility of its concerned institutions and experts to achieve the message of medical education in Iraq.

His Excellency highlighted that the Iraqi Board For Medical Specializations stands at the forefront of drawing up policies and strategies to develop and enhance the aspect of ​​specializations and medical postgraduate studies in Iraq.

Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurated the scientific exhibition of the conference, as well as the participants were briefed on the devices and scientific products of companies specialized in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.

It is worth mentioning that the Conference was attended by of parliamentary and academic members, included delivering a speech by the Head of the Iraqi Board For Medical Specializations, Dr. Haider Abd Al-Hussein, who reviewed the objectives of the conference and the number of participants, who highlighted more than two hundred specialized researchers distributed over thirty scientific sessions, the Head of the Scientific Council for Psychiatry Specialization, Dr. Nassif Al-Hamiry delivered a lecture on the dangers and the effects of drugs and addiction and methods of prevention and treatment.
