During a meeting with the Council of Tikrit University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed the requirements for completing projects and enabling the academic institution to meet the goals of development and community service.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed the importance of employing the available university capabilities in various fields and developing applied solutions that address problems on the economic, industrial, health and social levels and provide appropriate treatments.

His Excellency demonstrated that the provision of educational services, openness to community service and integration with State institutions represents an important part of the approved educational policy, as well as investing the results of research and employing them in joints and projects of appropriate service feasibility.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed on the importance of strengthening the relation with all state institutions in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development.

His Excellency reaffirmed the importance of each university and academic institution undertaking a specific scientific field that gives it sufficient space for excellence and provides it with the necessary scientific impetus in terms of producing specialized research, draw Integrated map to implement the educational policy, programs and timelines, identify needs and invest available capabilities.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed the proposals and visions of the Deans of the Colleges, as well as appreciating their efforts in covering the requirements of the scientific and practical aspects, taking into account the general situation, appreciating the challenging environment, adapting to changes, communicating with the world, and focusing on developing specialized skills.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by the presence of the President of the University.
