His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi said that “In commitment to the vision of development and rehabilitation in the fields of technical and vocational education and training and an emphasis on the outputs of direct cooperation with UNESCO, the Higher Education decided to initiate the adoption of the (Bologna Process) system in four programs at the level of the first stages in university studies in technical universities, starting from the current academic year 2022/2023 in preparation for the implementation of the new educational system in all universities”.

Dr. Al-Aboudi added that the adaption of(Bologna Process) system to enhance harmony with international academic systems and alignment with the requirements of quality and academic accreditation to meet the needs of labor market changes, as well ad the decision that came for the first time in Iraq after studies, meetings and joint scientific workshops with UNESCO’s experts will strengthen the position and position of our universities in the environment of global interaction and its academic system, especially the European Higher Education field.
