During a participation in the central ceremony for the graduation of students of the University of Information Technology and Communication for the academic year 2021/2022, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed on that the University of Information Technology and Communication occupies an important position in the environment of specialized universities to keep pace with the scientific and technical acceleration in the information and communication technology sector.
Dr. Al-Aboudi congratulated the graduates on their initiation towards their professional life.
His Excellency appreciated the university’s faculty members and staffs who spend every time, effort and valuable time in order to spread and create the academic and cultural awareness responsible for the foundation steps and reaching this important station of scientific and practical life.
Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed the Ministry’s confidence that this constellation of graduates will be at the forefront of the advanced technical segment in the public and private sector institutions and will contribute in upgrading the levels of their technological and informational performance and will meet the needs of the labor market that is looking forward to this specific category of specialists.
His Excellency highlighted that there is an urgent need to develop and enhance technical programs information technology in all institutions.
Dr. Al-Aboudi also appreciated the efforts of the university, which was not long after its establishment, in following up all its graduates and developing their knowledge through training programs, practical projects, and continuing education centers, as well as its contribution to the production of scientific and academic research that was documented by international sources.
For his part, President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Dr. Abbas Al-Bakri said that the challenges facing universities have made them an environment to adapt, to changes and provide scientific and technical solutions, as well as reviewing that the university has opened an important horizon of inauguration future specializations that community will need.
It is worth mentioning that the graduation ceremony included the chanting of the graduation oath, the speech of the representative of the graduate students, and poetic paragraphs, as well as the ceremony concluded with honoring of the top performers by His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi who congratulated them on this occasion, which culminated in a journey full of patience, distinction and success.
