During honoring researchers and innovators participating in the Spring Festival of Science, Innovation, Arts and Sports by Wasit University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasized on supporting innovators and creators and providing an appropriate educational environment that is based on advanced scientific modernization, business incubators and academic programs that are commensurate with their creative abilities.

His Excellency urged the promotion of distinguished research work that leads to transform innovative and distinguished ideas into successful applied projects with a direct impact in line with the strategy of Higher Education for the coming years, which stems from supporting innovators, the philosophy of development and the appropriate employment of material, human and technical capabilities.
Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that the Ministry is working to create the necessary climates for review, evaluation and response to development requirements, foremost of which is updating and revising curricula according to market requirements and knowledge variables.
For his part, President of Wasit University, Dr. Mazin Al-Hassani said that the follow-up and interest by His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi was an important incentive towards the development and modernization required by the university environment.
