During a phone call with the Lebanese Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Mqayati, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed enhancing of cooperation and coordination in light of facilitating and organizing the procedures adopted in dealing with the file of Iraqi students studying in the Lebanese Republic.

Dr. Al-Aboudi said that the two sides affirmed their keenness on consolidating the fields of scientific cooperation and enabling Iraqi students to achieve the fundamental academic requirements according to the established legal and academic contexts of official institutions.

It is worth mentioning that in light of this cooperation, the Ministerial Committee delegated by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to Beirut and held an official meeting with the Lebanese Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Mqayati and the officials of the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education, as well as the two sides agreed on signing a protocol to organize the degree equivalency file within a period of time that meets the requirements of auditing, in which Lebanese universities complete the equivalency procedures.
