During a visit to University of Wasit in Wasit Governorate, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi inaugurated new urban projects in its university and laid the foundation stone for a number of buildings in its specialized colleges.

During a tour at the University of Wasit, Dr. Al-Aboudi confirmed on that the ministry is keen on following up and preparing all quality requirements in the educational environment, including classrooms, advanced laboratories, libraries, green spaces and service facilities in order to provide an appropriate academic climate that contributes to the implementation and success of the academic programs accredited by university institutions.

Dr. Al-Aboudi urged more interaction in the field of providing services to the community and providing scientific solutions and consultations to all sectors of the state.

His Excellency confirmed on completing of university projects quickly according to the harmonious timings and the five-year plan for universities.

Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurated the fine arts exhibition of the faculty members and students of the College of Fine Arts and the charity market held by the university.

It is worth mentioning that the visit was accompanied by President of the University of Wasit, Dr. Mazin Al-Hassani and the inaugurated projects included the annex of new buildings for the Colleges of Education for Humanities and Arts, a conference hall, modern buildings for the College of Medicine and the smart gate for the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, as well as laying the foundation stone for a number of university projects that include scientific departments.
