The International Team for Academic Evaluation continues the tour visits to the Iraqi universities that obtained The Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The International Team reviewed the quality aspect and its approved standards, academic programs and applied curricula that are consistent with the labor market and the goals of sustainable development.
The International Team highlighted with the President of the University of Technology and its specialists the prospect of development and improvement of the components of the educational process, the contribution of scientific research in meeting the developmental needs of society and benefiting from training and educational programs with similar international universities in terms of specialization to exchange experiences and joint supervision of scientific research, as well as the importance of meeting quality requirements and standards for scientific and engineering specialties.
The International Team stressed on the importance of enhancing, supporting twinning programs and global partnerships, bridging international relations between Iraqi universities and their discreet foreign counterparts and achieving the highest rate of response to the requirements of the community through innovations and specialized scientific activities.
It is worth mentioning that visit included Ministry’s Deputy for Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Haider Abd Dhahad and the International Team for Academic Evaluation included Dean of Higher Education and Emerging Technologies in the Queensland Government and former Vice-Chancellor of the Australian Union University, Dr. Talal Youssef, Head of the Times Ranking for the Middle East and Africa, Mr. Nick Davis, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology at the Australian University of Queensland, Dr. Steve Hall and Head of academy professor malaysia, Dr. Muhammed Salih Jaafar.
