His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi laid the foundation stone for the buildings of the Colleges of Medicine and Basic Education at the University of Kirkuk and inaugurated new construction projects in the College of Science.

Dr. Al-Aboudi confirmed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working on harnessing all efforts and capabilities to complete and achieve the urban projects of the University of Kirkuk, including new buildings, laboratories, halls, playgrounds, gardens and service facilities in order to create an attractive and responsive scientific environment for students to meet quality requirements.

His Excellency reviewed the progress of the ongoing works in the new building of the College of Pharmacy and the new buildings of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

Dr. Al-Aboudi directed on completing their completion by the specified dates that serve the timings of the university’s institution.

It is worth mentioning that the inauguration was attended by the Governor and the President of the University.
