The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on that the World Federation for Medical Education reviewed including of the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq within the international eligible list for international accreditation.

Higher Education highlighted the official website of the federation (https://wfme.org/recognition/accrediting-agencies-status ) demonstrated Iraq among the list of countries whose councils and competent bodies have achieved the necessary requirements to obtain international accreditation and they are now eligible to be listed in the world map of the councils that are making their way towards international accreditation from ( WFME).

His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi congratulateed the National Council for Accreditation of Iraqi Medical Colleges and Universities on this important indicator and the achieved results.

Dr. Al-Aboudi renewed the Ministry’s support for the medical education environment in Iraq, enabling its institutions to achieve their goals and the quality of their academic programs and to perform their tasks and responsibilities in responding to the development goals and meeting the aspirations of the community in the field of specialized educational services.
