During chairing a meeting of Higher Education’s advanced staff, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi confirmed that the Bologna Process represents a strategic shift in the university education environment in Iraq and all engineering and science specialties in universities will witness the application of the new track in the next academic year.

His Excellency reviewed the performance indicators achieved in private university education, the secondment system for recruiting faculty members, the joint evaluation exam between public and private universities, the powers of university institutions regarding signing memorandums of understanding, postgraduate studies and academic programs in the humanities and scientific specialties.

Dr. Al-Aboudi also reviewed the proposals and projects submitted by the members of the advanced staff.

His Excellency directed the formation of specialized committees to organize and develop procedures related to modernize the contexts of the university environment.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by the Deputies, advisors, the Director of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation,  General- Directors and Director of Private University Education.
