The Wolfson College website, University of Oxford described the visit of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi to College of Wolfson as historic and the first of its kind for an Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Higher Education reviewed that the official website of Wolfson College website, University of Oxford (https://www.wolfson.ox.ac.uk/news/iraqs-minister-higher-education-and-scientific-research-visits-wolfson-college) published the artical of the visit of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi and his accompanying delegation in May 11, 2023 to the University of Oxford and Wolfson College, whose President, Sir Tim Hitchens welcomed the visit in his delivered speech on the platform of the meeting with the Iraqi scientific elites and competencies working in the United Kingdom.

It is worth mentioning that His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi announced during his visit to Oxford University the establishment of the Iraqi Competence Council, which includes the academic, professional and medical elites working in Britain with the aim of creating an environment for cooperation and scientific partnership prior to that, Dr. Al-Aboudi participated in the Education World Forum 2023 in London besides meeting Iraqi students in UK universities, as well as visiting the Oxford Center for Islamic Studies (OCIS).
