During the work of the 5th session of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council in Riyadh, Chairman of the Education, Youth and Sports Committee, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed the most important initiatives and projects as the following:

Initiatives:

▪️ Cooperation between Saudi universities (King Saud University, King Abdul Aziz University, Imam Abdul Rahman Bin Faisal University and Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University) and Iraqi Universities (Baghdad University, Kufa University, Basrah University, Mustansiriyah University and University of Technology) within the stage climate The first is cooperation that includes memorandums of understanding and joint executive programs in the fields of Higher Education, scientific research and innovation.

▪️ Continuing to provide study programs for Iraqi students (100) scholarships annually in Saudi universities.

 

▪️ Continuing the Iraqi Visiting Researchers Program (100) research annually in Saudi universities.

Projects:

▪️ Implementation of two training courses for Iraqi university leaders and cadres in the field of accreditation for international residents, in cooperation with the Saudi Education and Training Evaluation Authority.

▪️ Implementation of two training programs for educational staffs in the Iraqi Ministry of Education on mechanisms, programs and applications in the field of e-learning, distance education and teaching schools for the gifted, distinguished and people with special needs.

▪️ The visit of a team from the Iraqi Ministry of Education to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to see directly the satellite broadcasting school project and benefit from it.
