His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi said that “We congratulate the Iraqi journalistic family on the occasion of its National Day, which emerged with the establishment of the first newspaper in Iraq more than a century and a half ago and we express our great thanks and appreciation to all journalists and workers in the institutions of the Fourth Authority for their efforts that contributed effectively to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi people”.

Dr. Al-Aboudi added that “While we remember the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Iraqi press, we hope and wish all Iraqi journalists and their esteemed Syndicate more national giving and professional excellence”.
