His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi directed that the fourth of next October (10/4/2023)  as the date for the Science Day celebration and to honor the winners, for which four thousand five hundred and eighty-one distinguished faculty members, researchers and students are competing.

Dr. Al-Aboudi Reviewed that the awards are for patents, intellectual property, distinguished university, distinguished research published in reputable international scientific journals specialized for faculty members and graduate students, distinguished final grade students’ project, student award for collective voluntary creative encouraging work, distinguished author or translator’s book, distinguished Iraqi scientific journal and distinguished research center or unit.
