Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reviewed that Global Ranking of Academic Subjects announced the results of its 2023 edition, which reviewed that the University of Baghdad obtained a competitive score within the specialty (Dentistry & Oral Sciences).

Higher Education highlighted that the official website for the Ranking (http://www.shanghairanking.com/institution/university-of-baghdad) documented that the University of Baghdad registered a leading competitive score (201-300) with its counterparts in the Shanghai Ranking, which provided an academic evaluation of one thousand nine hundred universities from one hundred and four countries. around the world.

Higher Education demonstrated the results of the 2023 edition that score the competing international universities according to fifty-five subjects in the natural sciences, engineering, biology, medical sciences and sociology in light of a number of indicators, including the quality of research, international cooperation and international awards.

His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi congratulated the University of Baghdad and the entire Iraqi academic family on this new achievement, which is added to its achievements in the international rankings embodied in Iraq’s achievement of 37th score internationally.
