During the graduation ceremony of the thirtieth session at Al-Nahrain University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi named “Al-Aqsa Flood” the graduation course for the academic year 2022/2023 in all Iraqi universities.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that Iraq and its people are part of the flood of support for their brothers in Palestine announcing the naming “Al-Aqsa Flood” for the graduation course for the academic year 2022/2023 in all Iraqi universities, documenting the stand of Iraq, its people and its institutions to support the Palestinian people who are defending their land and their legitimate rights against the criminal Zionist entity.

His Excellency added that temporary sympathy for the Palestinian victims and martyrs is no longer sufficient and it is no longer acceptable for the world to watch the Zionist barbarism that slaughters children, demolishes homes and hospitals in Gaza and deprives civilians of the necessities of life, including water, food, medicine and communications.

Dr. Al-Aboudi continued by saying that this stage, which carries an exceptional specificity, requires everyone, including the Iraqi academic institution to support the flood of sacrifices and heroism made by the Palestinians in Gaza as they confront the Zionist death machine and raise the banner of historic victory against the usurping entity that practices the most heinous crimes and violates human rights and international law in full view of the competent international organizations.
