During inaugurating of Iraqi pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha exhibition held in the Qatari capital, Doha, which specializes in sustainable innovations and combating desertification, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi said that Iraqi institutions attach special importance to climate and climate change and that they are working according to the perspective of integration to enhance policies and programs that are consistent with global results in this field.

His Excellency added that the inauguration of the Iraqi pavilion indicates the keenness on contributing to confronting climate change in strategic ways that rely on the scientific method in drawing and implementing them.

It is worth to be mentioned that the inauguration was attended by Commissioner-General of Expo 2023, His Excellency Ambassador Badr Bin Omar Al-Dafaa.
