During inaugurating of the 5th International Scientific Conference on Creativity and Innovation, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed the move towards recognized scientific partnerships and openness to the industrial environment.

 Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry and its university institutions have devoted qualitative efforts in the field of openness to global academic spaces, embodying quality indicators in the educational process and its outcomes, developing innovations and formulating a future vision that will lead us in a thoughtful manner to a conscious response to the goals of sustainable development.

His Excellency continued by saying that the Iraqi academic institution recorded a mark of leadership in the field of research and development by initiating the construction of the largest scientific research center in the Middle East, in recognition of the importance of scientific discoveries in facing challenges and succeeded in opening up to the industry environment and establishing incubators for scientific partnership.

Dr. Al-Aboudi honored a distinguished group of researchers, pioneers and inventors, as well as inaugurating the scientific and artistic exhibitions organized by the participants.

It is worth to be mentioned that the conference activities witnessed a number of delivering speeches by the Director General of the Research and Development, Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi and representatives of the participating Arab committees and delegations.
