inistry of Higher Education and Scientific Research annaunced that “ In order to develop the educational environment and measure institutional and program performance indicators and the path of scientific research, the Ministry reviewed the results of the Iraqi Ranking of Universities for 2023.
Higher Education demonstrated that “This version, which was completed by Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus, included the evaluation of 95 public and private institutions according to the standards of institutional accreditation by 20%, international ranking by 10%, the effectiveness of scientific research by 30%, community service by 5%, digital maturity by 2%, faculty members by 10%, awards by 5%, students by 5%, structures and Infrastructure by 5%, diversity and international cooperation by 5% and occupational health and safety by 3%.
Higher Education also reviewed that the results of the ranking (www.iru.gov.iq) highlighted that the University of Baghdad obtained the first ranked then followed by University of Babylon and University of Technology at the level of public universities, as well as Al-Ameed University obtained the first ranked at the level of private universities and colleges, Al-Mustaqbal University obtained second ranked then follwed by Islamic University obtained the third score.
