During chairing the meeting of the Specialized Ministerial Team in implementing the national anti-corruption strategy held in Legal Directorate, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi urged strengthening preventive follow-up and a complete shift to automating procedures in all Ministry’s Directorates.

Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed on that the climates of academic awareness in educational institutions contribute positively risks and diagnosing phenomena that have a direct and indirect impact on the phenomenon of corruption, which requires the establishment of the necessary preventive barriers to prevent its indicators and repercussions.

His Excellency praised the work of the Ministerial Team to implement the national anti-corruption strategy and fulfill the requirements in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that Higher Education is working according to the priorities of the government program, which is at the forefront of the anti-corruption aspect.

For their part, the Ministerial Team reviewed the national strategy implementation program, overall percentage of achievements achieved and preventive procedures adopted by Directorates through electronic systems that citizens deal with directly.
