During chairing a meeting of the ministerial committee responsible for preparations for the launch of the 2nd edition of the Study in Iraq program for 2024/2025, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed a comprehensive explanation of the program of the previous version for the year 2023/2024, which attracted one thousand and fifteen international students who enrolled in studies in Iraqi universities in various specializations to obtain bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. degrees.

Dr. Al-Aboudi praised the indicators of success achieved in this file, which will enhance the academic reputation of Iraqi universities and give positive momentum in terms of competition in international rankings.

His Excellency demonstrated the importance of attracting international students and enhancing the aspect of integration between the Ministry’s Directorates and its university institutions in managing the new version of the Study in Iraq program, which It will be ready to be launched next March.
