During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus accredited to Iraq, Mr. Victor Rybak and his accompanying delegation, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed fields of developing joint scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries and developing the contexts responsible for exchanging experiences and scholarships in various specializations in the interest of the two friendly peoples.

Dr. Al-Aboudi expressed the institutions of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s readiness on coordinating the necessary understandings that would strengthen scientific and cultural relations.

His Excellency highlighted that Iraqi universities attract international students through the Study in Iraq initiative, which provided various scholarships in primary and postgraduate studies.

For his part, Mr. Rybak appreciated the interest of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi in developing bilateral relations and enhancing opportunities for joint cooperation in the scientific and academic fields, especially with regard to the exchange of scholarships and fellowships.
