The Subcommittee for Promotions at the University of Karbala, chaired by Professor Dr. Narges Hadi Mansour, held an important meeting to review completed promotion applications. This meeting was part of the university’s commitment to adhering to precise scientific standards in the promotion process of its faculty members.

The meeting, attended by committee members and the head of the college’s Promotions Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Ibtisam Abbas Nasser, involved extensive discussions on each promotion file. All requirements and attached documents for each file were meticulously reviewed.

The meeting resulted in the approval of three promotion applications from three different scientific departments, after the committee confirmed that all necessary conditions and standards were met.

Following this, the committee will forward the approved applications to the College Council for final approval, before sending them to the university administration for endorsement and subsequently to the Central Promotions Committee for the final review.

This step is part of the ongoing efforts of the University of Karbala to enhance academic development and ensure the quality of the educational process by advancing the professional levels of its faculty members and encouraging them to excel and innovate in their respective fields.
