The College of Science, Department of Physics at the University of Karbala, organized a discussion session titled “Units and Physical Terminology.”

The session, presented by Assistant Lecturer Mahdi Faisal Jawad, aimed to clarify scientific information about the history of units and their uses in ancient times.

The discussion included an exploration of the evolution of units up to the International Bureau of Weights and Measures, highlighting their vision for introducing new, more accurate units. It also covered another aspect that discussed the term “physical terminology,” its formation, and whether it can be fully comprehended.
