The College of Science in the Department of Physics at the University of Karbala organized a workshop on the specifications and criteria for publishing research in reputable scientific journals.

The workshop, conducted by Professor Ahmed Mahmoud Abdul Latif, Editor-in-Chief of the Karbala International Journal of Modern Science, aimed to familiarize postgraduate students and researchers with the standards and criteria required for conducting and writing research to ensure its acceptance for publication in reputable scientific journals indexed in Scopus or Clarivate.

The workshop included an explanation of the essential conditions necessary for completing any scientific research, the technical and formal specifications required for writing the research, and the methods for selecting the appropriate journal for publishing the research. It also covered the process of submitting the research to the suitable scientific journal.
