A review committee from the Presidency of the University of Karbala visits the College of Science to follow up on the progress of graduate studies

As part of its regular monitoring of the work of the graduate studies departments and the organization of student activities in the university’s colleges, a review committee from the Presidency of the University of Karbala visited the College of Science on Thursday, April 18, 2024. The visit was supervised by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Abdul Zahra Rahim, to monitor the progress of work in the graduate studies department of the college.

During the visit, the committee reviewed the student files in the graduate studies department and visited the scientific departments in the college to observe the work of the examination committees and ensure their compliance with the laws and regulations in force for graduate studies.

The committee praised the efforts made by the college in organizing the work of the graduate studies, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the laws and regulations to ensure the proper conduct of the educational process.

The main points of focus during the visit included:
– Ensuring the integrity of the admission procedures for graduate studies.
– Monitoring the progress of the students’ academic activities.
– Ensuring that the examination committees comply with the laws and regulations.
– Reviewing the student files to ensure they meet the required conditions.
