Professor Ahmed Mahmoud Abdul Latif, the President of the Karbala International Journal of Modern Science and a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Karbala, participated in the first annual meeting of editors-in-chief of Iraqi scientific journals, held by Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University.

The meeting aimed to enhance the quality of scientific research and academic publishing in Iraq, improve communication between journal editorial boards and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, discuss administrative publishing requirements, and provide workshops on this topic. Additionally, the meeting sought to promote the inclusion of Iraqi scientific journals in global databases and strengthen scientific cooperation and interaction between universities and scientific journals.

During the meeting, Professor Abdul Latif was honored for his excellence in leading the Karbala International Journal of Modern Science and his contributions to its development and elevation of its scientific status.
