The College of Science at Karbala University, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Hassan Jamil Jawad, extends its warmest congratulations to Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Abdul Latif, the Editor-in-Chief of the “Karbala International Journal of Modern Science” and a faculty member of the Department of Physics at the College of Science at Karbala University, on the occasion of his recognition by the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office as part of the “National Job Day” initiative.

Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Abdul Latif received this honor in recognition of his exceptional efforts in establishing the “Karbala International Journal of Modern Science” in 2015 according to rigorous international standards, achieving its inclusion in the Scopus index in 2018, and obtaining a Q1 ranking in 2021, making it the first Iraqi scientific journal to achieve this ranking in the history of Iraq.

This wonderful initiative by the esteemed Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office aims to honor creative, dedicated, and loyal individuals in their work from various ministries and state institutions, promoting values of dedication, loyalty, and innovation in the performance of duties and job responsibilities among state employees.
