The Minister of Higher Education Announces the Launch of the Second Edition of the Higher Education Reading Award

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has announced the launch of the second edition of the Higher Education Reading Award, with a total prize value of 100 million Iraqi dinars to be distributed among forty winners.

Registration for the competition is open through the platform (https://awards.mohesr.gov.iq) until September 21, 2024. Registered students will take an online exam on September 24, 2024, based on two key books: *Islamic Perspectives on the Declaration of Human Rights* by the martyred scholar Sayyid Muhammad Al-Sadr, and *The Civilizational Question: How We Invent Our Future in a Changing World* by Zaki Milad. The winners will receive a total prize of 100 million dinars, with the top 10 winners receiving 4 million dinars each, the second group of 10 winners receiving 3 million dinars each, the third group of 10 receiving 2 million dinars each, and the final group of 10 receiving 1 million dinars each.

The competition’s conditions include that the participating student must be of Iraqi nationality, enrolled in undergraduate studies, regularly attending classes, under 30 years of age, and registered for the competition via their official university email.

In this context, Minister Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi invites university students to participate in this prestigious competition. The first edition saw thousands of participants compete for the platform of excellence by engaging with meaningful content that reflects genuine civilization and positive culture.
