Professor Dr. Baqir Abdul Zahra Al-Ardhi, a faculty member at the College of Science, University of Karbala, and a member of the Ministerial Committee for Scientific and Technological Incubators, participated as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research delegation in a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The visit aimed to engage in a training and capacity-building program for officials of innovation and excellence centers, technological incubators, and science parks. It also sought to explore the experience of Iranian universities in establishing leadership centers and technological incubators to benefit from these practices and implement them in Iraqi universities, enhancing their innovation ecosystem.
The ten-day visit included tours of incubators and science and technology parks at Ferdowsi University, Imam Hussein Comprehensive University, and Sharif University of Technology. It also involved visits to science and technology parks in the cities of Mashhad and Tehran, as well as the Science and Technology Park affiliated with the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
