The comprehensive oral exam for Ph.D. student Hadi Abdul Ameer Kazem was held in the Department of Life Sciences to discuss the approval of his research titled:
“Isolation and Identification of Staphylococcus aureus and Molecular Characterization of Some of Its Virulence Factors.”
The examination committee consisted of:
• Prof. Dr. Mahdi Hussein Moheil (Chair)
• Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Jaddouh (Member)
• Prof. Dr. Lamees Abdul Razzaq Abdul Latif (Member)
• Prof. Dr. Amal Talib Atiyah (Member)
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kawkab Abdullah Hussein (Member)
The research aims to isolate and identify Staphylococcus aureus and study the molecular characterization of some of its virulence factors, contributing to a deeper understanding of the genetic mechanisms of this bacterium and its role in diseases.
This exam is part of the requirements for obtaining a Ph.D. degree, during which the committee discussed the scientific and technical aspects of the research, providing guidance and feedback to the student to enhance and develop his study further.
