Prof. Dr. Abbas Salem Hussein, a faculty member at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, chaired the Master’s thesis defense of Zainab Khalil Ibrahim in the Department of Public Health at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah.
The thesis, titled “Effect of Stevia Leaves Powder on Performance, Digestive Enzyme, Intestinal Mass, and Meat Quality in Broiler Chicken,” explored the impact of stevia leaf powder on growth performance, digestive enzymes, intestinal mass, and meat quality in broiler chickens.
The defense was attended by a distinguished panel of experts, where Prof. Dr. Abbas provided in-depth scientific insights and valuable feedback, contributing to the enhancement of the research’s quality and scientific accuracy.
This active participation reflects the significant role of the College of Science at the University of Kerbala in supporting scientific research and fostering academic collaboration among Iraqi universities.
