Faculty Members of the College of Science Organize a Humanitarian Visit to Dar Al-Hanan for Individuals with Severe Disabilities

A group of faculty members from the College of Science organized a humanitarian visit to the Dar Al-Hanan facility under the Authority for the Care of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs. The visit coincided with the holy month of Ramadan and aimed to promote humanitarian values and social solidarity.

The faculty members were warmly welcomed by the institution’s administration, and the visit fostered positive engagement between the residents and staff. The facility’s director, Mr. Thaer Sabah, provided a detailed briefing on the number of residents, their age groups, and the essential care and services offered to them.

This initiative aimed to provide medical and food assistance while also strengthening the connection between academic institutions and civil society. It reflects the humanitarian and social role of universities in serving the community and supporting the most vulnerable groups, contributing to a more cooperative and cohesive society.
