The Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training workshop titled “Fundamentals of Conducting Research Projects” aimed at equipping researchers with modern scientific methodologies, particularly in the fields of theoretical and applied physics.

The workshop covered the fundamentals of scientific writing in accordance with academic standards, highlighting the essential tools required for conducting research. Key topics included the principles of specialized research projects in electro-optics, such as solar cells, photocatalysts, and detectors, in addition to biosensors and gas sensors.

The workshop concluded with essential guidance and recommendations to ensure the professional and ethical execution of research projects. Emphasis was placed on following modern scientific approaches in material preparation, sample analysis, and result interpretation to achieve high-quality research outcomes.
