The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Kerbala, organized a training workshop titled “Diagnosis of Inorganic Compounds Using UV-Vis Spectroscopy.”The workshop aimed to shed light on the spectroscopic diagnostic mechanisms of inorganic compounds.

The sessions covered the preparation and measurement of inorganic samples using a dual-beam UV-Vis spectrophotometer, the electronic transitions occurring in inorganic compounds, and the interpretation of spectral absorption bands on the UV-Vis chart. Additionally, an open discussion was held to address participants’ inquiries.
