Assistant Professor Dr. Sarah Kadhem Ibrahim, a faculty member in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science – University of Karbala, has been selected as a scientific reviewer for a research article published in the international journal Chemosphere, issued by the global publishing house Elsevier Ltd.
The research article is titled:
“Herbivore pest under combined plant extract and cadmium effect, the case of *Spodoptera exigua from control and cadmium strain”
The study investigates the synergistic effect of cadmium and certain plant extracts on the larvae of *Spodoptera exigua*. It examines their impact on larval survival rates, growth, detoxification enzymes, and other physiological parameters.
